2. About FundingAtlas
FundingAtlas is an independent UK funding intelligence platform that publishes information about grants, loans, tax incentives and other funding mechanisms. We are not a government body, a grant awarding authority, a regulated financial adviser, or an agent of any funding provider.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a legally binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service you confirm you meet these requirements.
4. Accounts
Some features require you to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at michael@fundingatlas.co.uk if you believe your account has been compromised.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose;
- scrape, harvest or systematically extract content other than via published feeds (sitemap, llms.txt);
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service, its infrastructure or other users' accounts;
- interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service;
- resell or republish material commercially without our written permission.
6. Information accuracy & no advice
FundingAtlas content is provided for general information only. While we apply editorial standards and review processes, we do not guarantee that any grant, scheme, deadline, eligibility criterion or amount is current, complete or error-free. The Service does not constitute legal, financial, tax or professional advice. You must verify all details with the relevant funding provider before relying on them or submitting an application.
7. Intellectual property
All content, branding, code, design and compilation of the Service is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by UK and international intellectual property law. You may view and link to pages for personal, non-commercial use. All other rights are reserved.
8. User-submitted content
When you submit information through forms (e.g. funding finder, contact form, account profile) you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use that information to operate and improve the Service, in line with our Privacy Policy.
9. Third-party links and providers
The Service links to third-party websites, including funding providers. We do not endorse, control or accept responsibility for any third-party content, products, services or processing of your personal data on those sites.
10. Availability
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend, withdraw or modify all or any part of the Service without notice.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FundingAtlas is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for any loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill or data, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, or from reliance on any content within it. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under UK law (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against any claims, losses, damages and costs arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account by emailing michael@fundingatlas.co.uk.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service.
