Editorial
Editorial standards
How we source, review and maintain funding information.
Last reviewed:
Sources
Every funding scheme on FundingAtlas is sourced from an official provider — a government department, public agency, devolved administration, or accredited programme. We always link to the source page so you can verify the information before applying.
Human review
Each entry is read and structured by a human editor. We do not scrape funding databases wholesale, and we do not auto-generate funding descriptions with AI.
Independence
FundingAtlas is independent. We accept no paid placements, sponsored listings or featured-provider fees. Providers cannot pay to influence ranking.
Corrections
Funding programmes change. If you find an inaccuracy, contact us — we update entries quickly.
Editorial team
FundingAtlas is produced by a small editorial team of UK funding specialists with backgrounds in innovation funding, R&D tax relief, exports and regional growth. The team is responsible for sourcing, classification, advisor review and corrections. We do not publish individual reviewer names per grant because programmes are re-read on rotation and credit applies to the team as a whole.
Contact for corrections
To report an inaccuracy, a closed programme or a broken source link, email the editorial team via the contact page or use the Report an update link on any grant page. Reports are triaged within two working days.
How we work
- Methodology — sourcing, verification, classification and review cadence.
- Review process — advisor review workflow, evidence standards and corrections.
